Hello!
I have been lucky enough to work with words and content over the course of my career and education. From working as a journalist to helping support the arts as a communications specialist to working for agencies as a content designer and copywriter, I've always appreciated the opportunity to dig deeper into better ways to relate, understand and inform each other. My twin passions are storytelling and organizing digital experiences so that they make sense. I especially love the user research and testing aspects of any project, because I want to know what people need.
In my spare time, I keep my content writing skills sharp by writing occasional op-ed pieces, and short stories and am always curious about new ideas and trends in the industry.
I have a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in communications and journalism from Valparaiso University. Before that, I spent my freshman year at Monmouth College where I majored in art and English.
