The Challenge

John Deere was planning a total site redesign with a global migration to AEM and needed direction for their existing internal content team comprised of content authors and editors.

The Process

Close collaboration with Visual and UX Design, SEO, Dev and the client's in-house content team to ensure that deadlines were being met and that proper content governance structure was in place after the migration was completed. Deliverables included:

  • Content guide (including content templates, SEO and component information and instructions)
  • Content matrices (for US and Global migration purposes)
  • Copy decks
  • Component naming and descriptions
  • Information architecture based on SEO findings
  • Workshops (to teach best practices)
  • QA input with Dev
